In conjunction with the 2006 Victorian Design Festival, The National Design Centre (previously located in Federation Square) hosted the Australian Poster Annual – a competition allowing designers the opportunity to respond to the theme ‘in light of recent events’. This poster (which was chosen as a finalist) focuses on the intolerant undertones within our community which were highlighted by the 2005 Cronulla race riots.
